Session 2: Sport Psychology and Experiential Education with Olympic Sport Psychologist and Sea School Captain Colin GuthrieFrom Nova Scotia Sea School to Olympic/Paralympic sailing to the Volvo Ocean Race: perspectives from a sailing sport psychologist. Focusing on the surprising commonalities that are created when the ocean, boats and people come together, this evening session will incorporate theories of resonance, edgework and performance psychology. Session 3: The Sea School Method with Founder Crane StookeyA hands-off instructing approach to hands-on education. Using chaos as an ally, trust as a technique, and building resilience in others. Build Your Own Surfboard in a WEEK!Come and learn the art of shaping a surfboard with us and have it ready for summer waves!
