What is your SUMMER ADVENTURE Going To Be?Come on an expedition with us and you will sail, navigate, read the constellations, sleep outdoors, take command, explore the coast and uninhabited islands, make new friends and experience a totally new kind of fun. Ages 14-18 and 11-13. We offer 5, 7 and 10-day sailing expeditions in July and August, leaving from Lunenburg Harbour, Nova Scotia. This summer we are also offering a 4 day sailing expedition for ages 11-13. Some bursary support may be available. Contact us for details. Our 30’ expedition boats carry a traditional spritsail-ketch sailing rig and 8 oars. There’s no engine, we are powered by the wind and by ourselves. The boats are proven seaworthy and safe in all conditions, fast, responsive and exciting to sail. Our experienced and highly qualified instructors lead 10 students per trip out of Lunenburg Harbour to the LeHave Islands, Mahone Bay and St. Margaret’s Bay, and even as far east as Betty Island and Dover. We take turns cooking our own meals for each other and sleep under a blanket of stars. Current Programs:Spaces on spring & summer expeditions are filling fast!
