There's nothing like riding waves on a boards you made yourself! Come and learn the art of shaping a surfboard at the Nova Scotia Sea School. You will choose the style of boards and we will take you through the steps of custom designing, shaping and glassing it.

Whether you are an expert surfer or a beginner, this course will take you to a new level of surfing know-how. Register today and have your board ready for the winter swell!
All sessions will be held in Halifax at the Bloomfield Centre. The course will be taught by Brent Seamone.
* January 23-24th 9am-5pm
* January 25th-28th, 5:30-9pm (weekdays)
* January 29th-30th (weekend)
* as well as an additional weekend for finishing up boards, to be
negotiated by the group
Boards will be shaped using polyethurane blanks (rather than EPS Foam/epoxy).
*In order to get the materials we need to know what kind of blank you would like to shape - if you are unsure what size blank you should order or have any questions please contact Amy at the Sea School and she can help you identify what might suit you (423 7284). (you will significantly modify your blanks to the shape you want, but they start with a rough shape).

7'8" Egg
7'2" Fish
8'2" Egg
6'8" Fish
Course cost includes FCS fins and all materials. No taxes. Payment plans are available upon request. We are going to be building all of the blanks before the course starts.
