Nova Scotia Sea School
It's a Wrap....AGAIN?!
A huge thank you from our Executive Director Heather Kelday.

A tremendous THANKS to all for keeping us SHIP SHAPE
and helping young people leave this summer feeling PRIMO!
This was one of the best summers yet and it is thanks to all the incredible and talented leaders, support staff, volunteers, and community partners that all contributed to making it happen.
This summer we witnessed a Master Class instructor teams planning awesome programs, fantastic alumni rising up in new and more advanced employment roles, a full slate of new support staff dive in with great enthusiasm and capacity, and youth and lead crew making great strides towards the next generation of instructors and contributing citizens.
The potential is at a sweet harmonic humm! Can't wait to see what happens next!

After a successful day paddle with a youth group from ISANS (Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia), we partnered with ISANS and Cape LaHave Adventures to offer a 3 Day Sea Kayak Expedition with a group of 10 female youth. This trip was full of firsts for these participants including being the first time camping and first time kayaking for several.
We continued to offer the 5 Day Sea Kayak Expedition as part of our regular summer programing. This has been a successful addition with retuning and new Sea School participants this year.
Thank you Cape LaHave Adventures for another great summer of kayaking and great memories! Check out our awesome partners at: https://capelahaveadventures.ca/
